Grain futures were off to a rocky start but early losses have been pared and values are steadily moving into the green.  USDA Weekly Export inspections were on the light side at 12.5 mln bushels vs expectations for 18.5 mb.  Corn and soybean inspections exceeded expectations.  Bushel and acreage losses from Plains flooding will take weeks to assess.  US winter wheat crop conditions are expected to show improvement over last week's conditions.  The US$ index is modestly lower.  Wheat futures are unchanged to 4 cents better, corn is up 1 1/2 cents, and soybeans are 2 1/2 cents higher.
