Wheat and corn futures rallied sharply on the open on chatter Russia will halt wheat exports due to low prices. News wires are now commenting the rumor was false. Prices have backed off from intraday highs but still holding respectable gains. Severe/extreme drought in Kansas sees little to no relief in sight. The US$ index is moderately higher. China purchased more U.S. corn overnight. Wheat futures 15 to 25 cents higher, corn and soybeans both up 9. Have a great weeken
