Market Commentary

Wheat and corn markets lower on favorable crop growing conditions and better than expected yields coming out of Kansas. Heavy rains over the weekend created severe flooding in NW Iowa, southern MN, southeast SD, and northeast NE. Traders looking ahead to Friday’s Quarterly Grain Stocks and Planted Acreage reports. Traders are anticipating big corn acres. Wheat futures 6 to 8 cents lower, corn is down 6, and soybeans are a penny better.
